Privacy
This policy is still being written.
The full policy goes here before CopyCatcher takes any payment. Until then, here is what we hold and what we do with it.
- What we hold
- Your email address, the trade mark words and classes you ask us to watch, and your business name and ABN if you give them to us. Your business name and ABN are used for one thing: so we never alert you about your own filings.
- Email we send you
- Only email that comes with your watch: your sign-in links, your receipts, a welcome when your watch starts, the alerts you have signed up for, and a short monthly note of how many filings we checked. No marketing email.
- Where it is kept
- In a database hosted in Sydney. The trade mark filings we compare against are IP Australia’s public data, not anything about you.
- Who else sees it
- The services that run CopyCatcher: hosting, the database, email delivery, card payments, and the AI service that drafts the wording of an alert. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job. We do not sell your information.
- Seeing or deleting what we hold
- Email [email protected] and ask. You can see your mark and your details on your account page at any time.
This is information only, not legal advice.
